Many people I work with feel frustrated, ashamed, or confused by their own reactions, knowing what they want logically, yet feeling pulled in another direction emotionally. These patterns often develop for understandable reasons, especially in the context of things like trauma. You’re not broken, weak, or failing. In therapy, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and work toward change in a way that feels safe and respectful.
