I hope that I can empower you to choose me as your therapist. What characteristics does a person hope to stumble upon to begin to bare their soul to a stranger? I know that trust, consistency, humor, curiosity, certainty, empathy, knowledge, professionalism and security are key components that would make it easier for me to open up. I focus on utilizing emotions as clues to investigate underlying patterns that are no longer adaptive. For those wanting to integrate physical and mental health, I offer an adjunctive approach drawing on my training as both a registered psychotherapist and naturopathic doctor.
