We all have lived experiences that tell us a story of who we are. A story of who we may be to ourselves, who we are to our family, how we are able to show up in our personal relationships, and our ability to connect with our children. Sometimes the burden of our experiences creates a story that no longer serves us. One that blocks us from the joy and fulfilment we long for, and instead creates deep feelings of pain, fear, shame, and loneliness. I believe that emotions heal when they are witnessed and validated, and new meanings to old experiences can be transformed and ever changing.
