Sometimes the ways we’ve learned to cope with life’s challenges, through achievement, perfectionism, or emotional avoidance, can quietly pull us away from the authentic, connected life we truly want. We all share a basic human need to belong; to be understood by others and feel at ease within ourselves. Yet feelings like anxiety and self-doubt can leave us feeling disconnected, or wondering why we feel like we're falling short despite doing so much. I understand how exhausting it can be to appear confident and composed on the outside while struggling on the inside. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
