For many, counselling can feel intimidating—sitting across from someone you don’t know, unsure of what to expect, and uncertain about opening up. I understand. That was me when I first met with a therapist years ago. What I discovered, though, is that counselling is really just a conversation—two people working together toward a shared goal. As a therapist, I desire to create a safe space for that conversation. A place where your thoughts and emotions are heard, your story is understood, and where together we can walk the path toward mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
