I am a registered social worker with 25 years of experience in the field with a particular interest in applying a human rights lens to the work I do. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and healing space for individuals, using a strengths-based and person-centred approach. I've worked in rural and urban settings and have provided support to people living in Canada and other countries. My methods usually involve motivational interviewing, brief/solution-focused therapy, and prolonged grief therapy. Throughout my career, I have helped individuals identify what is important to and for them, creating plans for success.
