Finding therapist is a daunting process and then going to your first session can feel overwhelming. It’s hard to imagine the feeling of finding the right therapist for us and actually looking forward to sharing and exploring our experiences with them. It takes courage to embark on or even be returning to this journey but when you find the right fit, it makes the hardest things more bearable. Having a supportive and objective ally can help us navigate whatever life throws at us. That may be loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, traumatic events, sadness, identity questions or even the fear around what is happening in the world.
