You thought you knew what parenthood would look like — you’d have balance in your life, and feel confident in your new role. Instead, you may find yourself overwhelmed by anxiety, guilt and waves of unfamiliar rage. Unpredictable emotions, and the constant worry about whether you’re “doing it right” is becoming your new normal. You aren't being given the support you need, and no one told you it was okay to struggle during a time that is often expected to only feel joyful and fulfilling. I work with women, youth and families navigating life transitions specializing in the perinatal period and adolescence.
