“What will they think? What will they say?" If you grew up with immigrant parents, those words may still shape how you move through the world. I support daughters of immigrants who are tired of overthinking, constantly feeling “on,” and struggles with rest. A difficult childhood/family experiences forced you to grow up quickly and you had to develop the roles of being strong & independent. I understand this pain deeply because I’ve lived it & moved beyond survival so I bring both lived experiences & clinical training into the healing journey. Perhaps you’re there too, functioning in survival while longing for rest, joy, and freedom!
