If you are in the process of seeking counseling, I suspect it can be for any number of reasons or combination of reasons (stress, mood issues, current or historic family issues, past or current trauma, job related issues, personality conflicts, self esteem issues, simply wanting perspective in life, all sorts of other issues that would generally contribute to one simply feeling discontent or unhappy in life).
