People seek out therapy for a multitude of reasons: they may be searching for solutions for a problem they feel stuck in, confronting deeply rooted and painful challenges, or just looking for a listening ear. Whatever the reason, taking the step into therapy is a courageous move forward - one that often paves the way for new growth and transformation in our lives. I believe that everyone deserves to have safe, non-judgmental spaces to take this courageous step. In over a decade as a social worker specializing in adult mental health, my primary aim has been, and still remains, to create spaces where people feel safe, seen and heard.
