I believe that painful experience and times of suffering are inevitable and bring us into contact with the most human parts of ourselves. Rather than pushing experiences away, I work with clients to get close and learn from the things that worry them, depress them and excite them. And to watch for the wisdom and resilience that emerges when we do. I see therapy as an opportunity for individuals to know themselves deeply, treat themselves therapeutically, and to recognize themselves as rich, capable and complex beings. My stance is curious and non-judgemental. The relationship that I offer is caring, respectful and often playful.
