Amelia has been a Registered Social Worker since 2000, working with individuals, couples, and families who may have experienced intergenerational trauma or childhood developmental trauma, leading to mental health diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, or borderline personality disorder. As trauma causes stress on the body and conflict within relationships, the lives of the individuals who are struggling to understand why can often feel confused or lost. By giving them the knowledge and skills of how to accept the things they cannot change and to change the things they can control will assist them in building a life worth living.
